Tenth Anniversary Concert

As part of our tenth birthday celebrations we are gave two major concerts.

On November 24th 2018 Tenth Birthday concert in Norwich Cathedral

We are happy to say this concert was a sell out.  If you would like to order a CD follow this link.

The anniversary concert included our own groundbreaking reworking of Allegri’s Misereri. This not to be missed ambitious work preserves the mood and sensuality of the original piece whilst bringing it into the present moment with poignant, touching poetry. The lyrics are taken from the words of choir members expressing their feelings about life events and belonging to the choir. This was one among many heartwarming songs including Christmas anthems.

Our entire repertoire is performed from memory. A reviewer of one of our concerts in Norfolk last year said “The freedom from the printed copies can be seen and heard in their focus, their communication with each other and their audience, and in their spirited performance. The listener experiences volumes of emotion as the choir totally commit themselves to each song.  Their soloist is Kyanna Sutton. Singing with sincerity and feeling, with perfect intonation, she effortlessly lifts the music. Her musicianship is of the highest quality.”

Starting as a local choir who so obviously simply love singing, we have developed over the past 10 years to now present a diverse programme to a very high standard. We’ve been described as the most polished community choir you will ever hear and this concert is guaranteed to leave you feeling moved and uplifted.
