If you would like to join The Mad Dogs:
You must know the main choir repertoire too and be prepared to sing it in the small group. Numbers are limited, being one or two to each part. We meet to practice on Friday evenings and do homework between practices.
You would need to be able to sing in tune, to listen to the other parts, to be prepared to blend your voice with others, to sing a part different different to your usual one and you must also be able to hold a harmony part alone. You must be prepared to learn parts as homework, for this you will need some basic music reading skills, a recording device and a computer. You must be the kind of person who is open to improving your skills by accepting criticism as opportunity to look at your technique as well as your way of being in the group.
If you would like to be auditioned for membership of this group please approach Meg.
